My Journey with Glass is a birth from a happy party with friends and throwing the bottles on the road as a waste to a business(rebottle eco studios). It started with a simple feeling of discomfort. Even though they felt solid, reusable, and full of life but most of the end up in the trash can. It didn’t sit right with me.
Out of curiosity and a belief to help in making the sustainability a lifestyle, I began experimenting. I broke a few bottles, ruined many attempts, learned safety the hard way, and slowly understood the nature of glass. Over time, those discarded bottles started turning into simple, useful things — glasses, pen holders, lamps, planters, platters, and small everyday items that could actually be used again.
This blog is a reflection of that journey. It’s not a showcase of perfect products or smooth success. It’s about learning through trial and error, understanding materials, respecting the process, and accepting that handmade and upcycled work takes time. I share the real side of glass bottle upcycling — the challenges, the doubts, the improvements, and the quiet satisfaction of getting something right.
Here, I talk about working with upcycled glass bottles, creating handmade glass products, and trying to build something sustainable without pretending it’s easy. I also share thoughts on quality, responsibility, and why turning waste into useful products is more about patience than creativity.
My Journey with Glass is for anyone who likes things that are honest. For people who want to understand what goes into handmade and sustainable products. For those who believe waste can be reduced, not magically, but through consistent effort.
I’m still learning. I’m still experimenting. One bottle at a time, I’m trying to do better — and this blog is simply a place where I share that journey as it really is.
